Secondhand lifts

We can sometimes offer secondhand stairlifts from as little as £800 installed. These are always straight-track lifts, simply because curved tracks are always custom made and so are unsuitable for re-use. However, secondhand chairs and carriages are available to team with new curved tracks, bringing the overall cost down.

Our policy is that we only offer our own lifts that we have bought back from a previous customer. This way we know the history of the lift – its age, and very importantly its condition (i.e. the service and maintenance log).

If we have a secondhand straight stairlift at our warehouse that is right for your situation, it could be installed within 2-3 weeks.

Rental lifts

Rental lifts are worth considering in certain situations – perhaps where a person expects to be moving home shortly, or is recovering from a stroke and needs help during the convalescence period.

We charge a one-off fee for the installation and removal of the lift and the first three months’ rental. This is £625 (plus £90 if a power point is needed and you wish us to fit it). After that the monthly rental fee is £45.
