Going up and down stairs without leaving your wheelchair

A through-floor, or vertical, lift gives people the independence of moving between floors without leaving their wheelchair.

It can also be a great solution in situations where the staircase is not suitable for a stairlift, and, for those who are ambulant, there is a smaller size lift.

Modern through-floor lifts are cleverly designed to take up as little room as necessary (come and see one in our showroom if you have concerns about their size).

These lifts are free-standing so they do not need a load-bearing wall. They do, of course, have an impact on your home and our computerised scaled drawings are useful to get an idea of the available space once the lift is installed.
