Types of lift

Steplifts and other wheelchair lifting platforms

Steplift.

Overcoming access problems

Just a couple of steps or a change in levels can prevent you from gaining access to your home in your wheelchair. We offer a few types of lift that can overcome these difficulties. All quotes for these products are accompanied by a computerised scaled drawing so you can visualise the effect.

Coping with a few steps

Steplifts can be fitted indoors or out and there are a variety of platform sizes and rise heights.

Vertical lifting platforms are another option - they come with an interlocked safety gate for wheelchair access.

Managing a flight of stairs

In this situation, an inclined platform lift is the answer. This fits onto an existing or purpose-built, wide staircase and it folds up when not in use to allow pedestrians to pass.
