Stairlift. Stairlift. Stairlift. Stairlift.

Glide up and downs stairs the easy way

Stairlifts are motorised seats that glide on a metal rail that is fitted to the stair treads (not to the wall). They can be installed in about half a day with minimum disruption.

Staircases vary widely, as do the people that use them, so we offer a wide variety of models and options of stairlift.

Straight and curved stairlift tracks - the difference

A standard straight flight staircase has no bends or changes in direction, so the track can be straight too which is a less expensive solution.

If one or two of your stairs at the top or bottom are 'winders' or kite-shaped, then you will need a curved track stairlift.

It is best to request our free, no-obligation survey of your staircase because there are certain situations where stairs can be adapted to fit a straight-track. Rest assured our friendly, experienced surveyors will not pressure you to make a commitment - they do not work on commission and will happily offer impartial advice. You could also discuss reconditioned or rental lifts to keep costs down.

All stairlifts feature:

  • Battery power
  • Choice of chair controls
  • Manual or powered swivel seat
  • Safety edges to stop the stairlift if there is an obstruction
  • Choice of seat belts
  • Remote controls for top and bottom of stairs
  • Keyswitch to isolate the chair
  • Choice of upholstery colour
  • Linked footplate for ease of folding
  • Adjustable seat height

Additional options are available such as a powered hinged track to clear track from obstructing a doorway.
